All photos in this area of my Wiki page are or were taken by me or my husband from 2005 forward, as such they are copyrighted to us and not available for use by another, unless cleared for specific use for a specified time frame.

I periodically add pics from the show when I'm discussing a topic that's related to it. All credit for those goes to the fine men and women who shot them and the stars who so obilingly posed for them. Thank you, ladies and gentlemen for working so hard to bring us such an excellent show each week. YOU SHOW ME YOURS & I'LL SHOW YOU MINE, LOL :)

From My Heart to Yours ... Merry Christmas
God blessed us with the great, granite hills
He then created us with our own free wills
May His spirit rest in us all
As we celebrate and deck our halls.
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year everyone!!!

May the Good Lord bless each and every one of us with peace, joy, and laughter this holiday season. See you next year.

Time sure flies! I can't believe it's been two months since I last came to visit. I've been very busy elsewhere, trying to scare up a living as a photographer, so I haven't been here as often as I once was. I'll post a new thread with the links for my latest endeavors when I've gathered them all together. LOL :)

For now you should know that I'm on Red Bubble as Flora Belle Jardiniere, at Web Shots as Flora Belles Treasurer, and at Deviant Art as Flora Belle Ace Photog. I've been told by those that have seen them that my images are great or I wouldn't use the monikers I do. You can see a great sampling of my previous efforts here on my profile page. Here are some recent gems for your viewing pleasure.

Unusually Wet for May

A Rose by Any Other Name

A Rose by any Other Name
You'll see references to Shakespeare's works throughout my posts, as he's my favorite author of all time besides God Himself (through the inspired words in His love letter to humanity--PM me if you don't know which book I mean and I'll gladly explain it to you). I love all things nature or critter, but very little human-created things, including two-footers so you won't see many portraits of us in here. If one or two of Horatio and his team(s) in action slip in, it's natural since this IS the show's fan site. LOL :)
The above quote is straight from Shakespeare's "Romeo & Juliet" and spoken during Romeo's first soliloquy in the opening scenes of the play. So I'm a literary geek, somebody has to be. LOL :) Most of his first speech rhapsodizes about his love for the fair maiden, his desire to marry her, and the reasons he can't (their families are bitter enemies and such a union just isn't possible). I'll apologize if you've seen the play or the movies about it, because you know why they can't, but there are many who've never read of this pair or how their ill-fated union ended. I won't tell because I HATE spoilers.
Speaking of rhapsodizing, you need more images. LOL :)

Thought I'd post something beautiful to counteract all the depressing and divisive stuff we've seen today. I know it's the 10th anniversary of a massacre, but I don't think those who died would want us to be overly maudlin. Below are two images I compiled from 16 separate photos using Arc Soft Panorama Maker 5.0 (this is NOT an ad). I had to shrink them so they'd post, thus the delay in their arrival. Enjoy...

This is my way of thanking those that lost so much in the line of duty, as I've little else to offer. I hope that your centenary remembrance brought you comfort for your pain, encouragement to face another day, and joy in the presence of your remaining loved ones. My special tip of the hat to our dedicated public servants, especially those in the military overseas, for they serve without counting the cost and give without considering their own pain.

Here are two fresh images of some local flowers. Both grow in abundance between February through June in my valley. I'll post more as I edit them.

Sorry, it appears the horizontal needs a bit of trimming or something before it will fit here. I'll post it when it's to size. Petie

Let's Try for Another Image--Hopefully it will post!
I'm a lot like a phantom, but not as solid as a ghost. LOL :)
Circling into Azure
This is my backyard and the sky I often see there;
Some say it's so lovely that it makes them want to be here.
Soaring Overhead
FIRST NEW IMAGE FOR THE NEW YEAR!!!
May we each soar as high and feel as marvelous as this crow did the day I captured his image.
Me...50? No Way!

I can't believe I'm 50, tho the calendar says it's true;

It's an interesting conclusion reached, with my time firmly in view;

Now for the clincher, which some will likely confirm

I feel more 25 than 50, you little calendar worm!

I've chosen to ignore it, but honor my new lot;

And behave more sensibly, definitely NOT!

I'm a little wiser now, or so I'd like to think;

At least I'm not depressed or taking to strong drink.

So hug me while you're able, as I'm usually quickly gone;

And vow along with me to take things easier from now on.

Sure, it's another resolution, and we've all made lots of those!

This one I'm keeping, from my head down to my toes;

To celebrate each new day as golden in its way;

To cherish each of my friends worldwide as a separate golden ray;

Sent to lighten my dreariness and ease my weariness;

As I go along God's chosen way

Love, Petie

It's been forever, I know, but several major dramas unfolded that kept me from returning any sooner. Chief among them was this, my puter died in mid-November and I didn't get a new one until last weekend. Now I'm trying to decide which of my photos to post, because I have a lot of great ones. Oh yeah, size limits chain me to photos I've already shrunk for posting. I forgot. Seems I'm more limited than I originally supposed
.

A Beautiful Blue Lady

Here you have all you need, the title and copyright info in one frame. Copyright is in small print at the upper right. I LOVE Panorama Maker for this! It's made by a company called ArcSoft and does an amazing job of stitching the images together. This is the mountain range that I see whenever I take my dog for a walk. You have my permission to be very jealous. LOL :))

08/19/10

I know it's been awhile, but life has a way of interrupting my best laid plans when I least expect it. I've been dealing with the pain of my brother's death in March, so I haven't exactly been in a great mood. In addition to that, I recently learned that I might lose my long-term Fed job because I don't type fast enough to suit them. Since I'm 'unpapered' finding a decent job outside of that one is dicey to difficult on the best days. If being a fultime mod paid, I'd be on it in a heartbeat.

Here are some of my latest photos, these taken with a Nikon Cool Pix L110 because I dropped and broke my beloved Kodak Z1295 last March (another setback that hurt bigtime).

I thought of our fave redhead when I took this. I wonder why...

I guess this will have to do for now. The photo police aren't letting me post more at this time. Sigh...

The saga of Petie continues. LOL :) I'm finally back on track with Carmen's Conundrum (novel), have begun developing my online commercial presence (promoting my photos for sale if anyone is interested), and trying to stretch my UI benefit checks through another month. Below is a photo I took on my latest adventure with my camera. Sometimes, they come to you and you don't even have to leave your back porch! Hehehe

WAITING FOR THE DINNER MOUSE (OR MICE)--MAY 2010

I apologize for the blurriness. It was very early in the morning, this girl was horribly excited to see her longed-for target sitting so close, and I couldn't keep the cam still long enough for a clear shot. I'll try again and this time I'll get him! LOL :)

Yep, it's been a very busy sixty + days for me everyone. During that time I,

1) Worked over 100 hours of overtime,
2) Lost a beloved younger brother to melanoma (that one will hurt forever)
3) Car broke down (again). This time it's the front end and needs a total replacement.
4) Missed my buddies like mad, but managed to visit now and again.

And you? What's you spring been like?

03/19/10

Enjoy! I've been horribly busy, so haven't had a lot of time to spare for play. Will post more as I get them edited. Meanwhile, you may visit my video posts at www.youtube.com/allfair4h/videos if you want to see what's got my attention these days. LOL :)

Now this is a panorama!!!

Following the Dragon's Back

FOLLOWING THE DRAGON'S BACK--01/10

This range lives in the valley I walk with my dog each week. I keep shooting pictures of it because it fascinates me. I call it the dragon because at full size that's exactly what it looks like, a dragon taking a nap before she seeks her next meal.

I used the panorama feature on my Kodak Z1285 HD camera to get this. I can't wait until I can afford a genuine SLR with all the lenses and stuff that make getting the distant peaks in focus easy. This is a great started cam, inexpensive and very portable.

Now for the other stuff...

Chris (my younger brother) is doing well, so I'm grateful for that miracle. My holidays went reasonably well, but I'm still jobless. There's little hope of finding anything, either, since California has a 50% unemployment rate and I'm not exactly young or svelte.

Here's another shot, this of the clouds eating the sun this afternoon. Kind of reflects my mood these days, if you get my drift. LOL :)

Absolutely Fabulous!

CLOUDS EATING THE SUN--01/10

01/07/10

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVID CARUSO! May your New Year be filled to overflowing with the blessings you've worked so hard to earn.

Chris is doing well, but it's a daily struggle for him to remain upbeat, so your prayers are still needed and greatly appreciated.

My book, Carmen's Conundrum, is again stalled and my final deadline is Jan 15th. Any prayers and/or help with getting it whipped into shape are greatly appreciated.

May God bless everyone with a fun-filled, prosperous New Year.

A lot has changed since I last entered information here. I learned that my younger brother (I'm the oldest of four so they're ALL younger, lol ;) has a rare form of lung cancer, melanoma of the lung. The docs think they got all of it, but they're the same ones who said he didn't have cancer in the first place. Please pray for our family and him especially, as I don't want to lose him to this awful disease.

I'm naturally worried sick about him, so I haven't accomplished a lot.

Prettiest Princess in the World--Nov 09
Isn't she adorable? Her name is Carmelita and she's the apple of her mama's eye. Walking her is a joy because she's always ready to go, patient with me while I take endless photos of the same thing, trying for that one perfect shot, and eager for a new adventure whenever we can go. Her nickname is Vel-Cro pooch because wherever I go, there she is. LOL :)

================================================================= (05/10/08) I'm still hard at work, sisters, so I'll likely be making weekly updates until I'm furloughed some time next month. I'm still editing my latest batches of pics, too, so they won't be making an appearance until mid-June at the earliest. The book will not be going out at month's end as I'd hoped, working hard tends to fry the brain and block creativity more than I thought it would do. I'm still writing it, of course, but the characters aren't being as cooperative as they are when I'm better rested.

(05/03/08)

Hubby's as much a photobug as I am, so it's only fair to include his pics here, too. We've been together since we met when I was ten and he was twelve (sometime early in 1971, I think). That's almost 40 years ago now. He took this beauty on a solo trip to our fave fishing spot during our anniversary last year.
Courtwright Through the Trees, July 2007
(04/18/08) As anyone visiting here can see from my avatar, Alexx is my fave besides Horatio. It's a real shame she's soon departing the team, as she's been the stablizing factor on the show. It's nice to see her smiling, too, since she's usually knee-deep in bodies and their effluvea. May she be belssed with continued success in whatever endeavors she's involved after CSI Miami We'll miss you, Khandi, so visit often! As with life, things change; people move onto better things; and we adjust. If any of the producers visit these profiles, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE find another talented woman to be the ME on CSIM! The LAST thing the show needs is another man in a position of power and grave responsibility.
The Lady Smiles
It's good to see you laugh, Alexx, but that orange HAS GOT TO GO! The brown needs work, too.

(05/01/08)

It's hard to believe that another month has passed so quickly. I'm still hard at work at my job, processing and entering tax forms from my fellow taxpayers. I hope that all is well with most of you. T, I'm now more than a tad concerned for you and your latest addition. I haven't heard from you in some time and need to know how things are going with you.

Maggie, if you're able to get over here to read this, my heart and prayers are with you during this latest battle with your condition. I hope that you're soon back online and chatting like crazy; but if God has other plans, I understand that, too.

The Gravel Walk in Summer

(04/26/08)

I took this beauty BEFORE my walks with Carmelita, some time during the month of February last year. God has an awesome creative hand, doesn't He? Check out the latest of my photo books in the gallery above for more of these gorgeous pics.

The Lap of God's Luxury

(04/04/08) The pneumonia had me down for awhile, 3 weeks to be precise, but I'm all better now. Still a bit rheumy, but it goes with having asthma, so I'm used to it now. How are things with all of you? Just drop a PM in the electronic wilderness and I'll answer within a couple of days.

Layla, I don't know which of my three sites you visit most frequently, so I'll hit at least the best two with a kind word for you. Your support during my prolonged battles with illnesses have kept me pumped up and helped me heal much faster than would otherwise have been the case.

That goes for all the ladies I've befriended here, as well. I reached out and y'all reached back. I haven't had many 'downer' days since then. It's absolutely awesome! Especially for someone who's normally a shy guy with people she's not had the pleasure of meeting face to face.

Maggie, I know you're aliing now. I'm sorry that you're feeling so bad. If I could hug you, I would (XXXXXX) as big as the world. You're a wonderful person and an even better friend. Pinky, your insights are AWESOME. Thanks for the gorgeous pics on CSI Favorites. I'm sure they'll be as helpful to others in need of a break as they are to me. I'll soon add a few more of my own to my profile at CSI-F, so keep an eye peeled. LOL:)

T, there's nothing more to be said, you're the greatest Mod around, patiently guiding your protege thru the process as needed without being too fussy. Have you thought of going into teaching? It's never too late to mentor a child, or a cat. Chuckle, chuckle.

Patty, you don't check in often, but I'm sure it's your duties that prevent a more frequent PM. Keep up the great work! And thank your teammates for all of us, as well. It's a wonderful site filled with great things for everyone, even those who aren't necessarily the CSI family's greatest fans. I gave creating a masthead a try, but will need further training in photo manipulation before I'll show even a shred of the talent that Vicki, Pinky, and Tanya shower upon us every time they edit a page on the Wiki.

God keep you all in good health, high spirits, and delightful companions for as long as you live. Melody, your poems are funny, warm, and timely. I'm actually somewhat better with prose than with verse, so my own work needs a bit of polishing at times. I've been busy even while ill, trying to finish off the stories I've started and come up with more. I hope they bring you pleasure, as that's my ambition.

(03/29/08)

Well, guys and dolls, it's official. AllFair4H has pneumonia. I saw my family doc yesterday, date below, and he confirmed my suspicions. He prescribed Biaxin, which should knock the sucker down very quickly. I've been in and out, but mostly out cold trying to beat this monster.

The weather's turned rainy and cold again, which isn't helping matters. However, Steph, the moisture will be great for the flowers. I'll get as many pics of those as possible without violating trespassing laws! LOL:) So, they might be a tad in the distance instead of closeups, as I want them to be.

Tanya and sisters, I'll beat this, as I've done several times before, but it will take a while. Your prayers and kind thoughts are greatly appreciated. In the meantime, I'll likely be in and out at irregular intervals, between naps and such LOL:)

I'll keep in touch thru this profile and the one on CSI Favorites, too. Then everyone will know what's up with me. I'm not going to post pics for awhile, because it takes too long on this machine and I need my rest.

Carmelita & Squeaf in Action 0308

This is my beloved Carmelita,
Wrestling her cherished Squeaf;
It puts the ancient proverb,
About cats and dogs to grief!

These two buddies trade their wrestle
Times and spots, as their whims decree;
And make it prudent for any doubters
To take their bods and flee! LOL:)

My precious little Squeafie,
When he's of a mind
Will often seek his mama
For a round to unwind;

So if you're in our neighborhood
Feel free to drop on by
And you'll meet the sweetest
Kids that money could never buy!
Chuckle, chuckle

(Photos CW Patrick Barajas 032808--Poem CW P.K. Barajas 032808)

Mags, I told you I' post these when I got them, I did that with one here and one in the CSI Favorites Wiki profile. And they say cats and dogs don't get along! If only we humans could come to agreement as quickly as did these two, our world would be a much kinder place.

home - CSI Miami
As you can see from the overflow in back of the animals, we never finished moving into our house. Life simply got too busy too fast for us to finish the moving process. You can also see that the pup and the Squeaf are inseperable when someone's outside with the puppy. She's smart enough at 5 months to let herself in and out of the living room, so she plays outside with her pal all day long.

Patrick, my hubby and the taker of these pics, would be appalled that I let you see our messy yard. But life is what it is, so I don't feel as shy about sharing this aspect of it as he does. The inside of my mind is almost as messy and my environs reflect that turmoil.

(03/24/08)

I've decided to leave the life updates and other personal news for my profile and pic pages on the CSI Favorites site. If you're keeping apprized of m circumstances, firstly I thank you for your interest; and secondly here is the address if you want to check it out.

I established the CSI Favorites Wiki last week so we sisters and brethren could talk about ANYTHING our hearts desire without derailing the various threads on this Wiki. There are pages for faves, videos, pics, and more; plus a link to create your own pages when you're of a mind to do so. The address is:

http://all3showson1wiki.wetpaint.com

If you're interested in checking it out. Patty, feel free to drop in whenever you're between your various assignments on this site. It's a welcom relief to have someone else doing the editing for a change. LOL :)

(03/18/08)

Here are some pics from previous constitutionals. Having a young dog makes things really exciting, let me tell you! LOL ;) I'm afraid that most of today's shots were either blurry or otherwise unacceptable for publication here.

This is one of my very fave spots on my usual walk in the mornings. Steph, please let me know if you like rocks as well as flowers. I'll need to get a MUCH better camera with a macro and a micro lens before I can get the full beauty of the tiny orchids that grow here in the spring and summer months. Sorry about that.
Beautifully Watered Granite Feb 2007

Mystery Sojourn 031808

I've called this "Around the Bend" because I'm going around a cool bend at a place that I call Horseshoe Falls, because it's shaped like a horseshoe. This was actually taken last summer around June, long after the water had vanished from the hills.

(03/12/08)

Here we go again! I went for another of my perambulations today. I hope that you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoyed taking them!

Green & Silver Shady Arch 030808 Cool and inviting, isn't it?
Green and Silver are a lovely combo, especially in the spring.

Look at Her. Ain't She Sweet? 031208 Ain't she sweet? Pretty little poser, huh? She's such a doll, you just wanna kiss her. LOL. ;) She gives the absolute best puppy hugs and kisses, too.

Ah, Sunshine at Last! Buggs the Ancient in 2007. I'm old, but I'm cute, aren't I?
Buggs and Carmelita are best of buddies, even though they're at least two decades apart in age.
That's it for today, folks. I'll upload more when I've edited them down to size.

(03/09/08)

Here are more. I had to crop them a bit so they'd fit into this site's parameters. Enjoy, there's sun, sky, and puppy pics today. Oh, and a few felines, as well. LOL. :)

Happy & Emma 0308 Aren't I Cute? Carmelita 030808
Happy Cat is the big, black guy with the white smile on his face. Emma is his girlfriend of several years now. They teamed up when she first came to our house and haven't parted company since then. LOL. The second shot is one of the best of my new puppy I've taken yet. Isn't she sweet?

Carmelita & Her Mama Take a Stroll 030908 A Stream Flows Through It 030908

You sisters get a twofer with these! A shot of me with my sweet little girl and a pic of water actually flowing in my neck of the woods. For most of the year here, it's dry as an old bone; this year's heavy snows up north should provide lots of great water shots as the seasons progress. LOL :) Mags, this is 4 U. Hope you enjoy them. The shot of me and the pup was taken by my hubby of 23 years, Pat, during our most recent walk together.

(03/08/08)

I can't help it! I've got a gazillion pics of the area around my house and want to share as many as possible with my new friends!

The Devil's Stairway in Spring home - CSI Miami

A Watery Path to Paradise

(03/06/08)

Mags, T, and gals:

Here are some more pics. They're of the area around my home. They're somewhat older than the ones below, but beautiful nonetheless.

These stones and the little tree are on the path down the falls, which I'll insert at a later time. I need to get some work done around the house }{(I'm positive you ALL know that that means, LOL :)} I walk when the mood strikes, and now have a little pal to take as my coyote catcher (chuckle, chuckle).

Blondes Have More Fun A Simple Space
This is the stand of trees I pass on my daily walks with Carmelita. I took this pic ini 2005, long before she came into my life. I seem to have a fascination for fog, sun, and scenery. LOL. Mags, I hope you enjoy these. I know that I enjoyed taking them.

Sometimes we go down the path near it, and sometimes we go further down and come UP it instead. It's about an 8 percent grade, so it's a great workout for my glutes and quads. LOL. Enjoy these and I'll add more as time and space permit.
A Little Mist, Some Trees, and Real Beauty In Full Spate

The trickle of water falls over the face of my ABSOLUTELY FAVORITE subject. You'll see dozens of pics of the place, since I'm a true hydrophile (that's water nut to most of us). I have a few great ones of The Devil's Staircase that I KNOW you'll love, Mags. You'll see why I call it that when I get the chance to post them.

(03/03/08)

Here are some of the pics I promised last weekend. I finally got out the old digital camera and got a few of me, hubby, and our beloved Carmelita. She is just so darned cute! LOL.
C'mon Dad, Let's Play! Mama's Newest is Already up to NO Good The rather elderly looking gent sitting next to us is Buggs. He's my brother-in-law's dog and has lived with us for some time now. (03/23/08)

Yes the lady in pink is All Fair for H. Hubby's the lump on the couch to your left. I'll post more pics, hopefully of better quality, as time and space permit. In the meanwhile, I hope that you'll enjoy these. It's a great site, and I've made many friends. T and crew, please feel free to tell me what you think of these. I'm sure it'll be good news. LOL.

(02/29/08)

It's a weird day for us, as it's a day that doesn't normally exist. LOL. I'm watching my new puppy play door tag while she waits for mom to take her on her afternoon walk. She's quite funny and very cute! You'll soon see pictures posted here and I'll want your opinion about her. I thinks she's absolutely adorable, but I'm her mom.

I've begun a new Fan Fiction Page called "Educating Caine." Please read it and let me know what you think of it. Bye, for now. The muse calls and I must answer. LOL.

(02/25/08)

For those of you who actually read this profile from time to time, I'll be writing new epi ideas and editing my old ones a bit less often in coming months. I've recently begun working on a novella and want to finish it, find an agent (any recommendations would be greatly appreciated), and get it published in time for the Christmas rush; maybe sooner if I'm diligent. I'll keep you all posted as to my progress here, so check in often. I'll edit this page to include any new pics or other stuff that you'll probably like.

Feel free to PM me at AllFair4H c/o this Wiki. I'll get back to you within a few days at most. To all my fellow authors on this and other sites, YOU ROCK OUT!!! Keep up the great work. I've tried to get you to correct your grammar and sytax so your lines are easier to read, but a little voice tells me to lay off, as that's your personal voice speaking to your readers. Just as my words are a tad formal, even cold at times, others tales seem a bit rushed or even gramatically incorrect.

A small word of advice, ladies, write your stories as though you're working for the shows already. In other words, check your spelling, syntax, and other underpinnings so you're on the mark. No one here knows just WHO is or will be reading our works, so it pays to write for their eyes as well as your friend's.

Hello from Flora to all the great CSI fans out there! I hope the strike ends soon, so we won't have a delayed start to Season 7. Please feel free to have a look at the posts below and add your comments as the fancy strikes you. See you in the funny papers! LOL.

Hubby and Me in Carmel 2006--Happy 21st Guys Vanishing Granite

This is a pic of my hubby of 23 years and I on our 21st anniversary trip to Carmel by the Sea in 2006. More water and sand, mmm boy I can't wait! The pic next to us is last year's shot of one of my fave spots to walk near my home in California.

I call the shot below "The Devil's Stairway" because it the summer it's hot, dry, and very sweaty work returning from my trips to the bottom of the falls. LOL. :) Mags, you should really enjoy these, as they're so different from the scenes around your home. T, the pics are a great reflection of my state of mind, as I tend to be rather rock-headed at times. (Yes that's play on the Greek meaning of my name, Petra, which means either small rock or pebble. It's the feminine dimunutive of the name 'Petros'. I'm not quite sure how it's spelled, though. {03/13/08})

A Calmer Place & Time

I couldn't pick a better pic than the one above for who I am. I'm basically solitary, taking occasional trips into the E-world to see what I can see. I crave peace and seek people who seek it as I do.

Any pics of the wilderness around my home are mine. I take them when I go for long walks near my small place in Fresno County. It's the best thing I can do with my time when I'm not working.
