‘Miami’ Lets Cibrian Go

Following the announcement that CSI: Crime Scene Investigation is dropping Liz Vassey (Wendy Simms) from the series, it has now been revealed that CSI: Miami is making a similar decision. CBS has chosen not to pick up Eddie Cibrian’s contract, meaning that Jesse Cardoza will not be returning to the Sunshine State in season eight.

Here’s a cool bit of information about the way that Eddie Cibrian’s character will join CSI: Miami. TV Guide has scoop about the scenario in which he enters the team. All I can say is thank goodness that he takes his shirt off…and thank goodness that Horatio keeps his shirt on.

TIM: How about some insight into new series regular Eddie Cibrian’s arrival? We haven’t heard much about him lately. Cibrian’s Jesse Cardoza, a transfer from Los Angeles, gets taken hostage on his very first day. During the crisis, he performs a heroic deed that requires him to take off his shirt, as heroic deeds often do. "Sorry Eddie to be the dirty cop not Eric I love Eric and calleigh and a perfect way for Eddie to vacate the show. Maybe Eric can save calleigh from him!!? I am so glad Eric is coming back!!!" Oh okay! Now I understand! And I agree- I'd love to see SJ as the dirty cop, but they already worked that line with "LA". But I am all for Eric saving Calleigh from having to work anymore cases with SJ! Can't wait 'til next week- Eric's back!!!!!

IN SEASON 8 WE GET THIS GUY THAT WAS THERE BEFORE THE REST OF THE TEAM, AND THAT HE WAS LEAVING THE SAME DAY CALLEIGH TRANSFERED OVER, AND THEN HE LEFT...........
ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE STORY IS ABOUT THAT? WHERE DID HE SUPPOSEDLY GO? AND WHY DID HE RETURN TO CSI? AND HE ACTS VERY SIMILAR TO HORATIO IN THAT HE IS ALWAYS TRYING TO HELP OUT OTHERS, OFF THE JOB, LIKE HELPING THAT POOR GUY WHO LOST HIS SAVING THROUGH A BAD INVESTMENT... HELPING THE GUY FIND A JOB AND A PLACE TO LIVE WAS SO SO SO SO TOUCHING, IF ONLY THIS WAS SO IN REAL LIFE. COPS THESE DAYS, I CAN'T SEE VERY MANY GOING SO MUCH OUT OF THEIR WAY TO HELP PEOPLE GET BACK ON THIER FEET..... THEY JUST TEND TO REFER YOU TO SOMEONE ELSE. WHAT IS THIS GUY'S NAME (CHARACTER/ACTOR)???? NEVER COULD REMEMBER. ANYBODY. ANY INFO WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

I think it's safe to say that Jesse has some serious relationship issues...What is kind of bothering me right now about him is where the heck does the guy have the money to be going to charity events like the one in "Kill Clause"?! And if he comes from money (think spoiled little rich boy that gets his way) why is he a cop? Is it because he actually wants to make a difference, or is it because he rebelled against his upbringing? I'm really confused by this guy!

Brian is good but, it appears that he is hiding something, he's acting to strange!
Like in "Dude, Where's My Groom," He searches the strippers bag without a warrant
or anything that may have presented probable cause to even search her bag w/o a warrant!
He's hiding something, perhaps something happen in LA??

" The Police Fold is far more intricate then one is lead to believe to start with. Grabbing a women's purse would not be considered Brutality. There was no physical damage to the women. Harrasment it would all depend on how they spin the reasoning behind taking the purse in the first place. Atleast that is my understanding. If a cop suspects a women to have conceled weapon in his Dolce and Gabana purse. " Asks to search said purse" Then Sinorita decides she doesn't want him looting through her bag. They use force to get the purse in face of the women's protest. If someone is protesting LEO's searching thier purse it usually indicates he's going to find more then a tampax for those sometimes emergencies in there. But yeah thats what I'm thinking. But in general CSI: Miami is glamourized in comparison to the other two shows and a comic book stood up against the real world of Crime Science Investigation. So the things that they do can be done that way since it's tv. I like that Cardoza isn't afraid to use unorthodox methods to get the answers. It's almost very Jethro Gibbs.
