Some CSI Miami fans think that Alexx is one of the most unimportant characters of the show. Many others, like myself, think that Alexx rocks. She is amazing, she does her job well, is there always for her family, and is one of the most important characters of CSI Miami.

I like Alexx because she is smart and amazing, she takes care of her family, she does her job and makes sure it is done carefully and neatly, and finally she is there whenever the team needs her. She is not afraid of anything, except for when something bad happens or happened to her family. Alexx was upset when Tim Speedle died. She controlled her emotions when she did his autopsy so they wouldn't interfere with the investigation.

She showed a lot of emotion during the times that she was caught in a few fires with two of the CSIs and when she was kidnapped. She remained calm, but shaken when the courthouse she was testifying in was bombed to effect Clavo's escape from custody. Horatio wanted her to leave immediately, but she refused because she was needed to examine the body of a fallen officer and two civilians, as well.

Alexx is there for the rest of the team when something happens or happened to them. She's the show's mother hen, never inserting herself unless specifically requested to do so. She also covers for her friends when they need it, giving Wolfe a quick shot of antibiotics and a prescription to save his eyesight when he was shot with a nailgun; but insisting that he seek a physician to deal with the remaining infection when it didn't clear up after the first round of antibiotics.

All in all, Alexx is one of the most smartest, kindest, beautiful characters on CSI Miami ever. These are the exact reasons why I think that Alexx rocks!
