Every time I see them. I tell myself that they should be with each other and it never happens. I wish that they would let Yelina come back and be with the one man right for her.

I was watching the season 3 finale "10-7" (the one when Yelina left and John Hagen commit suicide) a few weeks ago. I started crying when Yelina was about to leave and my sister was like: "Chill, she's still coming back" and I'm like "I know, it's just... they were so cute together!" ("they" referring to H and Yelina).

The directing and editing of scenes and 'last minute saves ' by both characters are stunning. However, it's a story, that in real life would burden and confuse so many people (family and loved ones) that an irradicable mark would stain them both. It is in poor taste, as was (much removed scenario) Jerry Lee Louis and teen wife. THE HEART MAY WANT WHAT IT WANTS==== but that same heart is exceedingly vulnerable to internal bio-diseases. Don't court the 'jester' --ie the story line. this is a NO WIN, NO VALUE coupling. (See movies or read, "THE OTHER BOLIN SISTER" history, "Hamlet", "Herod and Solomae" Dance of the seven veils.
On the other hand, you may want ratings using taboo subjects. That will be on the heads of the executive crew, writers, and editors. Then you will lose just ONE faithful fan: me. The Torah and the Bible both say, "do not covet thy brothers/neighbors--wife, and property; blood or slave." Pesonally, i will know if you are running out of new scripting material with H and Yelinda this is a disreputable pairing==eeking to look like it might work. love, maureen maureenwheat@aol.com

Actually, i kinda do agree with Jgard. I mean he thnks they r a couple when they arnt, But they do need to become a couple, but the only way thats gonna happen is if he stops scarring her by beeing so close and personal. But i still totally LOVE HORATIO CAINE!!!!!!

I changed a word in the writing above as i though it was a little harsh and thought the word unusual was better as the relationship between H and Marisol was unusual but sweet.
I just know wish that Marisol could of stayed alive especially as H's son has appeared on the screen and that would of made a great story line ummm. It would of been great if H went to Rio with Marisol and while there he found out that Ray (his brother) was in trouble and tried to help him etc.......

Horatio and Yelina?????? i don't know about that, it's all a bit werid the fact that they are brother and sister-in-law and ok Ray does end up dying, it just seems to suit them better being that close and no other.......especially as know we are learning that H has a son of his own and his son's mum is appearing as well!!!!!!

These two are like Yin and Yang, they totally belong together! There has always been friction, cuz of Yelina being H's sister-in-law, but I truely believe that one day the writers will bring to gether the Lonley God and his angel

I would consider myself a DuCaine shipper (but if something were to happen between these two, I think it should be a wee bit into the future, as so many relationship things are going on with Calleigh at the moment) but the bond between Yelina and Horatio never fails to make me mist up! *sniffle* The chemistry between the two on screen is awesome - the scenes where they really interact, just the two of them, has me completely mesmerised! There is definitely a intense love there, but perhaps Horatio hasn't gone there, not simply because of Raymond or other practical obstacles, but because there's more at stake with Yelina than there has been with any other woman. She's also fiercely independent and strong, and he seems to like having a slightly dominant protective role (e.g., as with Marisol) with his ladies. Also agree with the last poster's comments - we never, ever see Horatio display any kind of physical affection, although he clearly has a very tender side. He's almost robotic when it comes to love. It would be great to see a more vulnerable, human side to him here. I very much hope the writers give us something better than longing glances between Horatio and Yelina in season 6!!

i feel bad for yelina... she marries ray, then finds out he dies, then dates horatio and discovers ray is alive, then he dies again (planned with horatio), then they ray, yelina and ray jr go to brazil where ray dies AGAIN, this time for real... then she dates rick who is abusive.... i think horatio would be the perfect break for her...

Obviously Horatio loves Yelina. I think he always will. Or at least always have feelings for her. But Yelina just doesn't seem interested. I would for Horatio to be with Yelina, but if Yelina carrys on like she has been Horatio doesn't deserve her.
The Horatio/Marisol thing was great, but we all knew she was going to die because of the cancer. We just didn't expect it so soon. I also think they should bring someone new in as well. Something fresh. |

I think that Horatio loves Yelina alot, and dates other girls in a desperate attempt to forget about her now she has left. He loved Marisol and Yelina equally, but Marisol was there and Yelina was not, so he married Marisol. But now Marisol is dead (RIP), he can fully devote his heart to Yelina. Hopefully she will return as a main character so their relationship can spread and we can see Horatio with the women he belongs with!

loving someone and being in love with them can be two different things. I really don't think that they are right for each other. Yelna was not as forgiving a person as Horatio was about Madison, and I am afraid that it anything happened to her mother that Yelina would not accept her. She seemed selfish on that respect loving someone is being able to accept their imperfections and past. Bing able to accept them for what they are and not what you want them to be.

I don't like Yelina. They should bring someone new, just like with Marisol. I think they blew it when they killed Marisol.
